Are you in?Role OverviewReporting to the CEO, the CFO will have responsibility for building our financial infrastructure-including establishing financial controls, developing project financing strategies, and building a high-performing finance team-executing on an ambitious capital raising timeline, and ensuring strong financial performance, all while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and stakeholder transparency.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild a team of finance professionals that will create Rebel Fuels' financial platform, starting with early-stage operations and scaling to support production facilities distributed around the globe.Lead financial planning and analysis, including project economics, capital structure optimization, and long-term financial strategy.Establish and oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions.Drive fundraising efforts across equity, debt, and project finance, including relationship management with investors and financial institutions.Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making around technology deployment and market expansion.Foster a culture that exhibits grit, creativity, humility, and care.Required Qualifications15+ years finance/accounting experience with significant clean energy or industrial infrastructure focusTrack record leading complex project finance transactionsDeep expertise in renewable energy project economics, tax equity structures, and capital marketsExperience managing cross-functional finance teamsStrong understanding of manufacturing economics and cost modelingPreferred QualificationsMBA or Master's in FinanceExperience with hydrogen or renewable fuel projectsStartup experienceCPA certificationCompensationAs a member of the founding team, compensation for this role will depend significantly on equity and will likely include remuneration triggers tied to priced funding rounds.Apply nowKindly email us with your CV and why you'd like to work at Rebel Fuels.
