Accounts Payable Mgr

Job Description:

Education/Experience required:



• Associates Degree in Business, or related field


• 5 years accounts payable experience and 1 yrs supervisory experience




Responsibilities include:



• Oversee the accounts payable function, including direct supervision of one accounts payable clerk


• Review invoices entered by accounting clerk for accuracy


• Prepare accounts payable checks, wire transfers and ACH payments


• Communicate with other departments and enforce the proper expense and invoice approval process set forth in the company expense policy


• Resolve purchase order and GL coding discrepancies


• Correspond with vendors, and inquiries from within the company


• Maintain vendor information files


• Prepare 1099 tax forms


• Maintain and reconcile petty cash


• Assist with month-end closing and accrual preparation


• Monitor and maintain internal controls as it relates to account payable function and cash disbursement
