Job Summary News 12 is looking for a driven Manager, Studio Operations, to lead a team of talented newscast directors. The ideal candidate will be an innovative television director who’s looking to coach and grow new talent in a technologically advanced control room/studio environment. The role will be highly collaborative with production, engineering, and editorial teams. Responsibilities Supervise team of studio directors. Coordinate studio and staff schedules. Direct newscasts and special productions, as needed. Coordinate special event and breaking news coverage. Ensure high quality video productions. Work closely with the network and station leadership to oversee day-to-day and long term planning. Work with Engineering to maintain equipment and facility. Respond to breaking news and other urgent situations as required. Hire, coach and train staff members, build strong teams. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year.
