As an Electrical Controls Technician, you will be primarily
responsible for performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT’s) on
electrical assemblies and systems. This role involves researching,
developing, drafting, and testing electrical systems to ensure they
meet specified requirements. We are seeking a candidate with a
background in electrical or electronic engineering, strong
communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously. Direct experience within Project Management would
be a plus, not a requirement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Factory
Acceptance Testing (FAT) for electrical assemblies and systems.
Research and develop electrical assemblies and systems. Draft
detailed schematics and design documents. Test and evaluate
electrical systems for functionality and compliance. Troubleshoot
and resolve issues related to electrical designs and systems. Serve
as the primary point of contact for customers and manage project
communications. Oversee multiple projects and tasks, ensuring
timely and efficient completion. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field is
preferred. Although the standard requirement is an Associate's
degree, we are looking for candidates with a four-year degree. Six
months to one year of relevant experience or training; or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. No PLC
programming experience required. Close vision, and color vision
ability required Safely and effectively lifting, carrying, and
moving objects of varying weights Bending, stooping, reaching,
balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods and
maintaining the necessary physical dexterity and coordination
Working in various environmental conditions, which may include
exposure to varying temperatures, and noise levels at times
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules,
operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure
documents. Proficient in writing routine reports and
correspondence. Strong communication skills for effective
interaction with customers and team members. Mathematical Skills:
Competence in calculating proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and
geometry concepts. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical
problems and handle a variety of concrete variables with limited
standardization. Proficient in interpreting instructions presented
in various formats, including written, oral, diagrammatic, or
