Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Pompton Plains, NJ
Duration: 3 Months contract (possibility of extension) Shift: M, W,
F, Sat | 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 38 hours/week Department: Radiology –
Cat Scanning Pay range: $65 - $68/hr. on W2 Note: Referral Bonus
Provided. Job Summary: The CT Technologist performs advanced
imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment, ensuring
high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient care,
safety, and privacy. The technologist maintains a professional,
efficient workflow and assists in coordinating emergent and routine
imaging studies. Responsibilities: · Perform CT procedures in
accordance with physician orders and established protocols ·
Maintain sterile fields, prepare requisitions, and ensure all
necessary supplies are available · Communicate clearly with
patients and families to provide reassurance and maintain privacy ·
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and verify patient identity per policy
· Monitor patients during and after contrast administration;
respond to complications · Clean and maintain CT equipment and
scanning rooms after each use · Maintain inventory, check
expiration dates, and report equipment issues · Participate in
QA/QC procedures in line with ACR standards · Coordinate workflow,
triage emergent cases, and ensure timely transport and follow-up ·
Alert radiologist to any unusual findings or urgent imaging
needs
