Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Summit, NJ Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,210 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Summit, New Jersey, 07901! Shift Information Shift: PM Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Hours per Day: 12 hours Days per Week: 3 days Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours Float: As needed Position Description Provide safe, competent nursing care for Med/Surg patients across pediatric to geriatric age groups. Perform thorough patient assessments and respond to changing patient conditions. Deliver direct bedside care, follow clinical protocols, and operate emergency equipment. Complete accurate and timely documentation of all patient care and education. Maintain professionalism and follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards. Ensure patient satisfaction through respectful communication and a patient?centered approach. Follow National Patient Safety Goals, use two patient identifiers, and practice safe body mechanics. Apply unit?specific knowledge related to surgical patients, procedures, and anesthesia. Educate patients and families on pre? and postoperative care and ensure understanding. Support Pre?Admission Testing (PAT) by reviewing orders and ensuring required tests are completed. Additional Expectations Ability to work 12?hour PM shifts (7 PM – 7 AM). Must be able to float to other units if needed. Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills. Commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and patient?centered care.
