Support advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures as a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist in Morristown, NJ. Key Responsibilities: - Assist physicians during complex vascular and neuro-interventional procedures, scrubbing in and providing technical support. - Operate floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems and power injectors for iodinated contrast media. - Retrieve, prepare, and circulate specialized interventional tools and products efficiently. - Maintain sterile technique while setting up procedural trays and uphold strict infection control practices. - Engage in closed-loop communication to ensure clear and accurate information flow during procedures. - Manage post-procedure groin care following interventions. - Document procedures accurately in electronic medical records and manage imaging files within Sectra/PACS systems. - Provide high quality patient care and adapt quickly to evolving procedural demands. - Maintain current BLS certification and hold an active NJ radiographic license with ARRT certification. Qualifications and Experience: - 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist in interventional settings. - Valid NJ radiographic license is mandatory to operate fluoroscopic modalities. - Strong knowledge of neuro-interventional and vascular procedures. - Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation. - Excellent critical thinking and communication skills. - BLS certification from an approved American Heart Association provider or equivalent.
