Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Diabetic Educator for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Diabetic Educator - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Proven experience with technical aspects of diabetes care including insulin pumps and CGMs. -Relevant experience in diabetes education. -Proficiency in electronic health records and medical software. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on patient centered care. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A Education: Required Education: -Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Preferred Education: -Master’s in Nursing or related field. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Current and valid New York State Registered Nurse License. -Certification in Diabetes Education. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Days shift with a least one Evening a week and some Saturdays. - Coverage of some evening sessions required. - Cover two weekends monthly. RN with outpatient experience; knowledge of Diabetes. This RN will work at Pierre Toussaint location that will cover the dia1betxes center and assist with other clinics as needed.
