Job Description Job Description MARKS, O’NEILL, O’BRIEN, DOHERTY & KELLY, a premier insurance defense law firm, with offices in Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Cherry Hill, NJ; Wilmington, DE; Towson, MD; Tarrytown, NY and New York City, is seeking to hire an experienced paralegal to support one or more of the Firm’s offices. Essential Functions: Preparation of pleadings including answers to complaints, motions, etc. Preparing and monitoring the case calendar, adhering to compliance deadlines for multiple clients. Reviewing medical records and preparing summaries. Ability to track and meet deadlines Qualifications: 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm or in insurance claims. Familiarity with PA, NJ, DE, MD and/or NY laws and procedures. Prior insurance defense litigation experience preferred. Applicants with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, document management software and Nuance. Deadline and detail oriented.
